Bill Wild:

Barbara and Bill married in 1971. During that time Barbara has loved and supported Bill through a 30 year Navy Reserve career, a 34 year Georgia Power/Southern Company career, 13 years of night school at Kennesaw State earning a BBA and an MBA, and 10 years of service as a deacon at Old Peachtree Presbyterian (PCA) in Duluth, GA. They have two grown children and four grandchildren, all of whom live within two hours of their home. The Wilds are now retired, very involved in an RV travel club, and frequently travel with their Airstream in tow. If they aren’t in church, they’re probably on the road. Bill and Barbara love this church family, their community group, and their D-Group.

Dave Vogelpohl:

Dave is originally from Toledo, Ohio and lived on Long Island before moving to the Atlanta area in 1995. Cathy and Dave have been married since 1973 and have a daughter (Tiffani) born in 1978 and a son (Peter) in 1979. They have 3 granddaughters born in 2003 (Leah), 2005 (Ryleigh), and 2012 (Zoe). Dave and Cathy have been at GracePointe since Randy Pope introduced Ralph and Lisa in 2005 and he became an Elder in 2011. The Vogelpohls also host a Community Group and several other church functions at their home. Dave's hobbies include woodworking, boating, golf, and reading.

Jim Carmichael:

Jim spent 1968 in Vietnam with Echo Co. 2/26. In 1986, he married his wife Catherine in Hawaii on R & R. Jim graduated from Bible College in 1981. In that same year, he and Catherine also started a church in Arlington, TX. They joined the Evangelical Free Church in 1982 which Jim pastored for five years. During that time, he also graduated from seminary. In 1995, they received a call to shepherd Germantown PCA, in Germantown, SD. Jim resigned as pastor in 1998. Jim became an elder at Covenant of Grace Church in St. Peters, MO in 2003 until 2007 when they moved to Cumming, GA. Jim has taught Bible in colleges & seminaries in Europe, India, Caribbean, So. America. He Earned a Ph.D. in 2016 and is an Author, he just published his second book on Combat Traumatic Stress.

BJ Fisher:

BJ and his wife Tiffany were married in 1999. They have two beautiful children, Ella and Kamen. They enjoy family time boating, camping, hiking, playing board games, watching TV and movies. BJ owns an auto repair shop in Cumming where he restores old cars and builds race cars. Before coming to GracePointe, BJ served as outreach coordinator for six years at a non-denominational church. He has a growing passion for sharing the gospel and seeing others reconciled to God. He strives to find new and exciting ways to connect with the people of our community and beyond to share the love of Jesus.

Phil Manning:

Phil moved from Southeast Georgia to the Atlanta region 25 years ago to program computers. He married Erin in 2000. They were part of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian(PCA) and joined Gracepointe 4 years ago with Sam their son. Phil is a farmer at heart growing lavender and vegetables even while programming computers. He is also is a bee keeper/tender in his spare time.

Daniel Owens:

Daniel and Vanessa were married in 2003. They started attending GracePointe in 2011 and have continued to worship and grow in this community. As a young child Daniel lived primarily in Mississippi where his dad attended RTS and pastored a church in Collins, MS. Daniel and Vanessa have three children: Kadence, Dakota, and Branch. Daniel owns his own landscape and construction business, Horse and Plow. He is a true jack of all trades! Daniel enjoys playing soccer and anything out of doors.

Scott Caden:

Scott and Theresa moved to Cumming in 2018 from Tennessee to be near family. They quickly found a church home at GracePointe. Scott was born and raised in Alabama. He has spent most of his work life in retail and currently runs a Cash America pawn shop in Alpharetta. The Cadens have four grandchildren, two in Cumming and two living in Colorado. Scott is an avid reader and follower of the Crimson Tide and the Braves. The Cadens also host a Community Group.
