Barbara and Bill married in 1971. During that time Barbara has loved and supported Bill through a 30 year Navy Reserve career, a 34 year Georgia Power/Southern Company career, 13 years of night school at Kennesaw State earning a BBA and an MBA, and 10 years of service as a deacon at Old Peachtree Presbyterian (PCA) in Duluth, GA. They have two grown children and four grandchildren, all of whom live
within two hours of their home. The Wilds are now retired, very involved in an RV travel club, and frequently travel with their Airstream in tow. If they aren’t in church, they’re probably on the road. Bill and Barbara love this church family, their community group, and their D-Group.
JB moved to the Atlanta area at a very young age and has been here ever since. He first met his wife, Carolyn, in church nursery at the age of two (no, that is not a typo) and got married to her 20 years later in 1992. He first started attending Intown Community Church (Perimeter PCA plant) while attending Georgia Tech in the early 90’s. In 2016, they moved to the lake and found a new church
home at GracePointe after 18 years at Perimeter. With eight children ranging in age from 7 to 24 (Mitchell, Anne, Emily, Drew, Will, Lindsey, Skyler and Luke) things are never dull around their house. When JB is not working, he enjoys hanging out at the lake, home improvement projects and brewing beer.
Sandy and June married in 1973 and have been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. June is a retired teacher, who graduated from Florida State University and grew up in St. Augustine, FL. Sandy grew up in Decatur, GA, earned a degree from The University of Georgia, and is a retired salesman. We moved to Lake Lanier, in Dawsonville, in 2014 after a
40 year residence in Lilburn, GA. Sandy was a deacon at Parkview Church (PCA) in Lilburn for about 13 years. We were planning to visit various PCA churches in the area and make a decision; however, their first visit was to GracePointe and knew it was home. June and Sandy love Jesus, each other, our families, and living on the lake.
